Broadview Dog Park, McInnes Ave, Broadview

The Broadview Dog Park is enclosed and features tunnels, trees, logs and rocks for your pooches to run and jump on with their new doggy friends. There’s also a large football oval next to the park where they can have a play and run while on leash.

Golden Grove Dog Park, Bicentennial Drive, Golden Grove

This fenced park is specifically designed for dogs to exercise in and features obstacles suitable for canines of all ages and sizes. There’s also a handy drinking fountain for dogs.

Bentley Dog Park, Gentilly St, Holden Hill

The Bentley Reserve Dog Playground is fully fenced and has separated areas for small and large dogs. It has plenty of open space and features obstacles such as tunnels, logs and a slide. There’s also shelter, seating and drinking fountains and an attached oval that dogs can play on while on leash.

East

Four Paws Park, corner of Montacute and St Bernards roads, Hectorville

Four Paws Park is fenced and features doggy exercise equipment, a drinking fountain and both grassed and dirt areas. There’s also seating and an adjoining park to enjoy, but dogs must be on leash.

Conyngham Street Dog Park, Conyngham Rd, Burnside

A large, fenced dog park with both grassed and dirt areas, which are perfect for muddy fun after a few rainy days.

Otto Park and Hannford Reserve, St Peters

While these may not be listed as dog parks on the map, both Otto Park and Hannford Reserve allows for dogs to be off leash and run free. The City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters is also in the process of turning Hannaford Reserve into a dedicated dog park.

South

Hazelmere Road Reserve Dog Park, Glengowrie

This dog park was upgraded in 2019 and features separate fenced areas – including one specifically for small dogs – drinking fountains with dog bowls and walking paths. Attractive landscaping, shade and seating areas make for a comfortable visit for dog owners.

Dinton Farm Reserve Dog Park, Huntfield Heights

This medium-sized, grassed and fenced dog park features a drinking fountain with a dog bowl, and large shade trees. Adjoining the park is a picnic area and a playground so you can entertain children and furbabies at the same time.

Minkarra Dog Park, Happy Valley

With more than a quarter of a hectare for dogs to run free off-leash, this is more adventure playground than it is park. It also includes exercise areas featuring hoops and hurdles, as well as seating and shelter, and a playground and skatepark for the kids.

West

Pooch Park, Tedder Reserve, adjacent Findon Rd, Flinders Park

A popular gated dog park featuring agility equipment, drinking fountains (for both dog and their owners), tables, benches, a gazebo and toilets.

Dog Scentsory Garden, Todville St, Woodville West

Not quite a dog park, but this is a small, purpose-built space for well-behaved dogs who prefer to avoid traditional dog parks. Here, pooch pals can sniff to their heart’s content. It’s scent-sational.

Semapaw Park, Semaphore Park Reserve, Semaphore Park

Newly built in 2021, this dog park features spaces and equipment for dogs who are active and social, and for those who prefer to quietly observe or explore. There are also amenities for dog owners, including seating and shelter, and it’s just one street away from the beach.

Central

Pityarilla Dog Park, South Parklands

This fenced dog park in Pelzer Park/Pityarilla Activity Hub has obstacles for dogs such as logs and rocks, as well as grassy areas, a water feature, shelter, seating (for fur parents) and two separate sections for small and large pups.

North Adelaide Dog Park – Bragg Park/Ngampa Yarta, entrance off Robe Tce, near the corner of Main North Rd

This is one for the late-night walkers. Among the two fully-fenced areas – one for small dogs and another for “all dogs” – Bragg Park offers sheltered seating areas, play equipment and obstacles for pups, and lighting until 10pm.

Please remember to be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your pet and remove them if they‘re displaying aggressive or anti-social behaviour.
