If you’ve never voted at an RAA General Meeting, now is the time for you to have your say.
The upcoming General Meeting on Friday 29 March will be calling on Eligible Members to vote on a package of changes to the RAA Constitution that will protect the future of South Australia’s largest membership organisation.
Since our modest beginning back in 1903, RAA has evolved into a fast-growing business with diverse commercial, community and advocacy activities focused on protecting more than 765,000 South Australians.
An organisation of our size and complexity needs a modern, robust and flexible governance structure. Similarly, RAA needs a framework to ensure the Board of Directors have the appropriate mix of skills to effectively govern an organisation like RAA—a member-driven organisation with businesses spanning multiple industries, including insurance, motoring, technology, and travel.
Increasing compliance obligations—including the findings relating to the insurance industry from the recent Royal Commission—means the time to make these changes is now.
We encourage you to have your say and secure a strong future for your RAA by voting.
