What's bright yellow, full of energy and enjoys watching the footy? RAA Rangers, of course. And they're back for the 2019 footy season.
They’re not hard to miss, but it’s only natural for their good deeds to sometimes go unnoticed when you’re singing the Pride of South Australia or Never Tear Us Apart at the top of your lungs.
To give you an idea of what they got up to last year, we’ve recapped our favourite RAA Rangers moments from last footy season at Adelaide Oval.
Just remember: while it’s unfortunately not possible to surprise every fan, the rangers do their best and you never know when it could be your lucky day!
1. Have you been lucky enough to get a ticket upgrade from RAA Rangers? This fan was… and the look of shock on her face is priceless!
2. Step aside – RAA Rangers will foot the bill for your food and drinks.
3. Feeling cold? RAA Rangers buy lucky fans beanies, scarves and even blankets!
4. Sun in your eyes? Here’s a pair of sunnies…
5. Say cheese – RAA Rangers will take a selfie with you so you’ll never forget the experience!
Here are some of the kind words footy fans have for RAA Rangers so far…
“I was blown away on Sunday afternoon when one of the RAA guys bounced in and paid for our food. Totally gobsmacked and thought someone was pulling our leg! Thank you RAA!” – Dianne Liebelt
“Two ladies made my daughter’s first footy game a magic moment by letting her choose a Crows jumper and a teddy from the Crows shop at Adelaide Oval. Thank you very much for your kind generosity!” – Brenton Burrows-Shammall
“On behalf of my partner David and myself, I would like to thank the Crows and RAA for the fantastic upgrade to the RAA Corporate Box. We missed the previous games as David has bowel cancer and has not been very well at all, so to me that was something so very special. Thank you once again.” – Margaret Kerr
“Excellent work RAA . Fantastic work and a great idea giving back to the community. #payingitforward.” – Stephen Radcliffe
“Great ambassadors – love their happy attitudes.” – Evelyn Lonergan
