School’s nearly out for the term, and chances are you’re already scrambling to find activities to keep the children entertained.

When did you go to Funtopia?
I went with my cousins Claudia and Harry, and my Nonna, when we had a sleep over. It wasn’t for a birthday, just for a fun day out. Mum has also taken me.

I went on the big, big slide and climbed up the wall to get there. I also went on the cars.
What was your favourite part of Funtopia?
The big slide.

HARRISON
AGE: Nine
FAVOURITE HANGOUT: TreeClimb
LOCATION: Corner of Greenhill and Unley Rd, Park 20 Kurangga Park
Who knew conquering your fears could be fun? That’s exactly what Harrison thought when he soared above the ground at TreeClimb – a nature-based aerial adventure park in the Adelaide Park Lands. With eight elevated treetop courses, including zip lines, daring kids have the chance to safely reach for the sky – and have a whole lot of fun doing it. Here’s what Harrison thought of TreeClimb.
Did you go to TreeClimb for a special occasion?
I received a TreeClimb gift voucher for my birthday.
Was it scary being so high in the air?
At the start of the climbing session, I was apprehensive. It took me a while to face my fear of heights and get started.
What was your favourite part of TreeClimb?
The flying fox. I faced my fear of heights. Once I got started and got the hang of it, I enjoyed the challenge.
What would you say to other kids who haven’t been to TreeClimb yet?
TreeClimb is definitely a good, fun experience and a great way to conquer your fear of heights.
How much fun did you have on a level of one to 10?
Nine. The staff were patient with me and encouraged me along the way.
